Cosmed Group, Inc. is pleased to announce the acquisition of a sterilization facility in Erie, PA from iuvo Bioscience. This acquisition marks Cosmed's return to contract sterilization after an eleven-year hiatus, reintroducing the company to a market in which it was a leader.
This is a very strategic move for the company. In addition to providing contract sterilization, Cosmed will use this faciltiy to showcase its sterilization equipment and emerging sterilization technologies.
As part of the acquisition, Cosmed and iuvo Bioscience have agreed to cooperate in a preferred partnership relationship. This relationship provides our customers with access to a widely-respected laboratory for testing services in concert with our sterilization services.
